214/365. PART 2: Learning How To Love Through Prabhat Samgiit -An Interview with Acarya Abhidevananda Acarya in Israel
from Jyoshna - From Nothingness To Empowerment · host Jyoshna La Trobe
In this second part Dadaji talks more about the feminine perspective in Prabhat Samgiit as expressed through the nouns P. R. Sarkar uses to symbolise devotional expression, for example through the word balaka (see sculpture). He gives a very meaningful Baba story to illustrate this point. He says that the expression of love is everywhere in these songs - in fact its inescapable, so if you really want to learn about love, go to Prabhat Samgiit. I end with Dada Priyashivananda's recording of song no 9 Andharer Sei Hatasha. The photo is of the Balaka Chattar in Bangladesh courtesy of Wikipedia.
