215 - Brick

This week we smash together the 1940s noir with the mid 2000s high school angst in Rian Johnson’s groundbreaking directorial debut “Brick”. Join just Adam and Joey (Britt was off being a nun…long story) to discuss the clash of styles, the lead performance of Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and all the aesthetic choices Johnson makes that truly brings this film together. Also, this week Adam recommends “Knives Out” (currently on Prime) and Joey recommends “Under the Silver Lake” (currently on Netflix). You can listen to us wherever you listen to podcasts!
