215: Coming Out & Losing Out – John MacDonald

Imagine that you have waiting all these years to finally be yourself. Over 50+ years to truthful. Finally the day comes and you feel alive and finally on your way. But wait, the universe had another road for you to tow. But does that stop you? Maybe, but as today's guest shares, avid listener John MacDonald, you're never too old to go for being your most authentic self, regardless of what roadblocks get thrown your way. About John John was never married but he has a 24 year old daughter, and has spent most his life in the closet, because coming from a small Rural Town he never imagined living as an out gay man. Finally after a my third brush with Cancer, a rare Urethral Cancer, he decide he had to come out and accept his sexuality and start living as his authentic self. That was 5 years ago and he was just getting going when he was diagnosed as having Atypical Parkinsonism. While it is challenging an adjustment to trying to meet other men when you have complex health issues, especially ones that impact your ability to perform sexually and make movement, John wants  to share his story to inspire other men to keep going.
