Workplace incivility is one of those things that many have experienced or witnessed, most can identify, but can be difficult to define.  Wikipedia defines work incivility as “low-intensity deviant behavior with ambiguous intent to harm the target.” Furthermore, it’s labeled as uncivil behaviors (that) are characteristically rude and discourteous, displaying a lack of regard for others. Workplace incivility is not only unpleasant, it’s also costly.
