In this episode, I will be speaking with Mark Bullivant, a principal at SAOTA Architecture. Mark completed a Bachelor of Architecture at the University of Cape Town in 2006. He immediately joined SAOTA, cutting his teeth overseeing the construction of a number of local projects. Mark quickly established himself within the practice with his all-around ability, work ethic, and leadership skills and started climbing the ranks, culminating in promotion to Senior Associate and in 2015 to Principal of SAOTA. He is creative, versatile, and ambitious. The move towards more renewables in our energy systems complicates matters even further, requiring the development of an integrated power grid and continuous and steady transformation of the UK power system. Network flows must be managed reliably under uncertain demands, uncertain supply, emerging network technologies and possible failures and, further, prices in related markets can be highly volatile.
