216. How To Create A Music - Related Content Calendar Podcast

from Gab and Jam · host Prejippie Music Group, Inc.

216. How to Create a Music-related Content Calendar video description This episode is a follow-up to episode 213, Goals for 2022 (https://bit.ly/213goals2022vid ), where we mentioned that we wanted to do more pre-planning of our D.I.Y. Rock Star activities. So, when I saw this Creative Juice episode, How to Plan for the Year Ahead in Your Music Career, that shared this process, I KNEW I had to weigh in and share. We’re going to follow this process to create our very OWN music/social media content calendar, as well. [Inspired by Check out Creative Juice 🧃 podcast EP197: How To Plan For The Year Ahead in Your Music Career (Nov 30, 2021)] #contentcalendar #band #diyrockstar #prejippie #bloomingprejippie #creativejuice @creativejuice Here are 3 things to consider before you even get started: 1. May take a few days to complete 2. Involve your entire group/team in planning 3. The goal is NOT to be overwhelmed by this process and to be excited and to have fun and support your big goals for the year. Here are the steps for creating a year-long content calendar for your music: 1. Grab out a yearlong calendar 2. Put big items that you know might happen in the year (releases, live performances, etc.) 3. Add in holidays 4. Add content and promotions around those 5. Look back at what you did last year (figure out what worked and what didn’t) 6. Figure out your goals (make money, find repeat customers, convince listeners to buy) 7. Execute What do you think? Are you going to try implementing this? What are some ways that you’re going to plan out your music-related content for this year? We’d love to hear about it. Leave it in the comments below.
