217 - Suburban Transpondency

from Transpondency

These Guys Are from England and Who Gives a Shit! This mix began as an homage to plunderphonics artists like Negativland, The Tape-beatles, and Chenard Walcker but expanded beyond my powers to control it. There's clearly a death theme running through the podcast which is punctuated by The Suicide of Socrates, who was sentenced to drink a cup of poison hemlock. The Beatles by a prominent role; they get mashed up with The Beastie Boys. There's a B-52 demo version of 52 Girls in there to prop up a "girl" subplot. Other treads emerged that could've extended the runtime to infinity. Happy New Year. Hope you enjoy it. 'Now, good sir, you understand these things. What must I do?' 'Just drink it and walk around until your legs begin to feel heavy, then lie down. It will soon act.' Have you found what you're looking for?
