#218 P.I.B
from ELECSOUL PRESENTED BY DJ ROBBIE DUNCAN Hosted by DJ Robbie Duncan
This week’s show is a mix of nostalgia and homage. I take a moment to reminisce about a 90s road trip through France, Austria, and Switzerland. We also dive deep into the vibrant energy of New York’s drag ball scene, inspired by the powerful documentary Paris is Burning. The film captures the joy, resilience, and creativity of the gay community in the late 80s, just before the AIDS epidemic reshaped the scene. Vogue was the dance, and Soul, Disco, and House were the heartbeat of the movement. Tune in for a journey through sound and culture. Full tracklist at www.djrobbieduncan/elecsoul.
