Star Trek is now celebrating its 60th Anniversary this year. That is an achievement that not many franchises have accomplished. There is something to be said for staying culturally relevant for that long. While the show has continued its familiar trappings during the 60 years, it is actually the program's flexibility that has kept audiences watching. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds takes that objective and runs with it further than any other series. The fourth season may wind up being the series' best as it explores all kinds of genres, but never forgets the main focus of the show, the crew of the Enterprise.
