219 Tom Peiffer

from Low Pressure Podcast: Skiing's First Podcast

Tom Peiffer spent three years competing on the Freeride World Tour.  Now, the Whistler resident is shifting his skiing to more of adventure based approach.   He talks about his transition away from competition and his current attempts to juggle a ski career, a real job and finding time to work towards a university degree.  We also learn about his first big mountaineering mission to climb and ski a peak in Nepal. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a failed attempt but none the less it was a learning experience that will be invaluable to him moving forward.
