God's Word is a lamp to illuminate the dangers of life's path and light to protect as we walk on that path.  God's Word can change what we are into what we want to become.  God's Word can stop Satan in his tracks and cause him to leave us alone.  In Ephesians 6 we are challenged to "take the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God.  God gave us the sword and then he tells us to take the sword.  Just as we are to put on the Armor we are also commanded to take up the Sword.  It is your choice, but what you choose to do will impact your success in your spiritual battles.
