22.03 Setting the Table of Christ and Culture (Part 7)

In this episode, Craig and LaDonna Smith introduce an important piece of living a biblically healthy Indigenous Faith - and that is the issue of applying good, God honoring Contextualization of the gospel to the unique cultures we all find ourselves being raised in.  Every culture needs to have the gospel contextualized  so all the ways our people live can be biblically evaluated by the follower of Christ to see what parts of cultural forms and meanings  can be kept (those that don't violate biblical standards or teaching), what forms and meanings need to be changed (because parts of these cultural forms involve unbiblical spiritual practices tied to our old animism), and what parts need to be abandoned (those that clearly violate God's Word).  All important considerations if we are to have a biblically healthy Indigenous Faith.
