In rugby union – Roger  Tuivasa-Sheck is reportedly giving it one more season in rugby union,  with a possible return to the 13-man code in 2024. With the NZWarriors  unlikely to have room in their salary cap to accommodate him, the former  Dally M Medal winner is perfect for the cashed-up Dolphins. In rugby league – the North Queensland Cowboys season review 2022: The  Cowboys were the surprise packet of the 2022 season with the men from  Townsville shocking the comp to get within one win of the decider. They  let slip a big chance to make their first grand final in five years, but  should be proud of a season that sets them up nicely for 2023. In basketball – the NBA Commissioner, Adam Silver said this week that Mexico City is doing all things necessary to demonstrate that ultimately we may be able to base an NBA team there. Mexico City has the highest population of any city in North America with an estimated 9 million people. Mexico City Arena can seat 22,300 fans — larger than the NBA’s largest arena, at 21,000 for Chicago Bulls’ games. There are reportedly around 30 million NBA fans in Mexico. In boxing – former  world boxing title challenger, Viviane Obenauf has been sentenced to 16  years in prison for the brutal murder of her husband. The  Brazilian, 36, stood trial in Switzerland more than two years after the  October 2020 death of her 61-year-old Swiss husband. Police claimed she  hit her husband 19 times in the head with a baseball bat at their home  in Interlaken, Switzerland. And the reason it was claimed – wait for it - she became angry at her husband’s less  than enthusiastic reaction to the news that she was pregnant. Big mistake dude!
