Am Anfang dieses Jahres befand sich Cornelia «Conny» Steiner in der  Blütezeit ihres Lebens. Die 34-jährige Bernerin freute sich über ihre  Aufgabe als Leiterin am ISTL Berner Oberland und hatte auch sonst vieles gut geordnet. Doch im März 2022 änderte sich ihr Leben auf einen Schlag: Beschwerden in ihrer Brust veranlassen sie dazu, ihre Ärztin zu besuchen. Diese erkennt schnell, dass Conny einen sehr bösartigen Krebs hat. Von heute auf morgen ist ihr Leben komplett auf den Kopf gestellt. Mitten in diese Zeit kam die Anfrage von Livenet-Chefredaktor Florian Wüthrich, in den «Hope»-Regiozeitungen einige Gedanken über Hoffnung zu teilen.
