22-16 Laurel Canyon

Laurel Canyon, el refugio idílico cerca de Holywood, fue centro de actividad contracultural y fue refugio de músicos en los 60-70. Cuando hablamos de Lauren Canyon tendemos a imaginarnos algo muy cercano al paraíso. Un sitio alucinante donde existía camaradería entre los artistas y se respiraba libertad en el aire. Pero esa imagen de inocencia y armonía tenía sus matices. Un mundo feliz para músicos, productores, agentes y sellos discográficos, en el que todos eran amigos y se visitaban sin avisar y aprendían y se influenciaban mutuamente mientras componían éxito tras éxito. Nos guiamos por dos documentales, uno de Allison Ellwood y otro de Jakob Dylan y por el libro de Barney Hoskins, “Hotel California, cantautores y vaqueros cocainómanos en Laurel Canyon”.
