22.17 The Who, What, and Why of Scripture - Redemption (Part 1)

Craig and LaDonna Smith begin a new study on key theological concepts that will help Indigenous believers in Christ grow into solid followers of Christ who rightfully know how to defend the Scriptures.  After just completing a series on the doctrine of Christology, Craig and LaDonna now turn their attention to the doctrine of Redemption.  They begin to unpackaged the truths of this doctrine, which focuses on the finished work of Jesus Christ on Calvary's cross.  His finished work when He died for the sins of the world accomplished God's plan of redemption, but it came at such a high cost to Him.  It's our free gift, yes, but let us never forget what it cost the Savior of the world.  We will begin to discover that this important concept is all about the work of God in the life of the individual, and not culture.  People are redeemed by God, cultures are not, if we believe the Word of God as authoritative in our lives.  You will be blessed by the abundance of what God's Word has to say as the Smiths launch this important view into this crucial doctrine of the faith.  May the Lord give us all open ears and open hearts to hear what the Spirit of God is saying, through His timeless truths of Scripture, to help us in our journey into building an Indigenous Faith that is strong, and impacting our communities.  So join Craig and LaDonna Smith as they present this week's episode,  the first installment of Redemption, God's purpose in the cross of Christ.
