22.51 Craig Smith - The Biblical Anatomy of Culture (Part 3)

As Craig concludes this crucial session on the Biblical Anatomy of Culture, he raises a question of utmost importance.  If there is no biblical support of God giving the cultural ways to all nations, then where did human cultures come from?  The only answer, he contends, is from fallen human nature, which leaves the syncretists to answer the question, are you willing to put all your theological marbles in a belief system that does not have biblical support?  To support the concept that all human cultures are filled with pride and disobedience to God, he raises a provocative statement about modern American culture and its own animism, which is covertly embedded in modern western thought yet has its roots in some of the worst Old Testament pagan practices, including child sacrifice.  The session ends with LaDonna Smith sharing some of the personal experiences Craig and she have faced in their own upbringings in an animistic culture and in their over forty years of ministry.  It's one of the most significant endings to one of the most important sessions in all of their Indigenous Faith teaching series.  Be ready to be challenged, friend, with the truth of God's Word as God's people confront the darkness of the spirit world in Native North America.
