22 — Beyond The Cave

In this episode we discuss what it really means to be open minded, and whether it’s possible to remain curious without losing the convictions that give our lives direction. Beginning with Plato’s Cave, the conversation moves into faith, psychology and personal experience as we explore how our worldviews are formed, challenged and refined over time. We talk about the tension between ritual and intention, the stories we inherit, the responsibility that comes with questioning our beliefs, and why understanding why we believe something matters just as much as believing it. Rather than searching for definitive answers, we reflect on how our perspectives evolve through lived experience and honest dialogue. Because perhaps the goal isn’t to believe everything or believe nothing, but to hold our deepest convictions with enough humility that life can continue to teach us something new.
