The Team Leader for Raise Vegan magazine, Emily Court is a media member and content creator with three years experience in the vegan sphere. Through her work, she's become closely acquainted with the rise of the meat-free industry and the ins-and-outs of joining a social justice movement in the digital age. A self-described "recovering vegan hothead," Emily is now a pragmatic member of Vancouver's vibrant and growing plant-powered community. Hailing from Halifax, Nova Scotia, she holds a BA in Spanish and certificate in Intercultural Communication from Dalhousie University, where her thesis focused on topics of cultural and gender-based descrimination.
