22. Fresh Crown

As power shifts on the political thrones of our planet, this week, we covered royalty on the podcast. The buzz-show is The Crown. To contrast it starkly, we chose The Fresh Prince (get it?) of Bel Air as the other, which also provided an opportunity to explore why one should or shouldn't trust Will Smith. As part of the typical side-track, Slaney brings up a fabulous video that dissects David Foster Wallace's outlook on the use of irony, as a narrative device in modern television. If you want to watch that video to connect a bit better, here it is [ http://tinyurl.com/osedjpx ]. Highly recommend - props to Will Schoder. Tweet your thoughts to @showshowpodcast! Enjoy!
