Grandmaster Ridvan (Rick) Manav of Australian Martial Arts academy joins me in this episode to share stories from his life. From being a child without a lot of fear to coming to Australia at the age of 7, to picking up martial arts to learn to defend himself from schoolyard bullies and racism to developing an ultra successful martial arts academy we cover a lot in this episode and I think anyone that listens can appreciate the impact that martial arts has made on our lives. One of the things I really enjoyed about this conversation with Rick was finding out some of the milestones in life that shaped Rick's own perspectives and his approach to sharing martial arts.
