22: Local Bike Shop Spotlight – Ted’s Bicycles

It’s the oldest independently-owned bike shop in Colorado Springs, with a history of not just providing great service, sales and rider support for over 52 years, but of contributing to the community with impacts that reach far beyond the cycling world, to make this city a better place to live for everyone. In this edition of Pedal the Springs, meet Tony, the owner of Ted’s Bicycles, and find out more about the shop’s history and the many activities and events he has initiated and supported throughout the years, from repairing bicycles for an annual Christmas giveaway to those less fortunate, to helping launch one of the most iconic area events, the Starlight Spectacular, that funds our local trails and open spaces, to providing more than 300 bike racks throughout our entire community.
