#22: Matt Trolled Spiritual Gangster

“Who’s the #Sandra in your life?” This is one of the many questions that we ask on today’s episode of General Snobbery. As much as we enjoyed critiquing the evil corporation known as "Spiritual Gangster" on last week’s episode, we realized that we’d left out a very important detail: the origin story of our despising of that evil corporation. It all began on a simple day of Instagram #wanderlust, when suddenly Matt stumbled upon this company’s page. Filled with bafflement, filled with rage, he responded in the only way he could: by trolling Spiritual Gangster. It was only a matter of time before they blocked him, just as it is only a matter of time before they block General Snobbery. But before they blocked him, Matt left behind some shimmering relics of Snobbery-style trolling, which involves not the name-calling and ridicule of a Bro-type approach, but rather the creation of a particular persona that develops comment by comment, gradually leading the social media master of Spiritual Gangster to believe that this created persona is actually completely insane.
