22 Patterns Of Aaron Gajo - Honesty in family & in Coffee industry

from Patterns Of Life · host JB Norman Verances

Aaron and I had known each other since 2016 but it wasn't until this year that our friendship grew closer. Aaron truly carries a familial vibe. One that reminds me of a distant relative who's always present in family reunions and occasions. Though we aren't directly blood-related, to me he has been a brother whom I consider family. Every time his name comes up in a conversation with friends who knew him from way back, there is a common denominator. Either he has been consistently present in all of their milestones or he has been a reliable source of guidance. Aaron holds wisdom that is tested through time and integrity of relationships he held on. This reflects the character he possesses; honesty, loyalty, and teachability that preserves his long-standing relationships. This is why those who he grew up with are seeking after his counsel. Aaron cares about being at peace and at reconciliation just as much as he values every person he comes across. He is not afraid to be in a vulnerable and uncomfortable situation, nonetheless, it challenges him. These challenges cause him to innovate towards his craft when it comes to writing, artistry, and art of making coffee as a barista, musician, and wordsmith. More than that, his ability to lead by example shows how he is willing to take the hit in able to maintain the bond of people he freely serves. His service has always been about creating a space where everyone feels included. In our conversation, we unpack the human tendencies that push the envelope of knowing somebody to loving people without compromise, whether it's in the workforce, within the sphere of influence or with customers.
