有个病人告诉医生自己总是出汗。医生说：“这对身体很好。”病人回家后觉得越来越不舒服，便又去找那个医生。它说自己怕冷。医生却说：“这对身体没什么害处。”当病人第三次去找医生时，病情已经发展到拉肚子了。医生还是说：“这没什么。”后来，有个亲戚看到病人面黄肌瘦的样子大吃一惊，问他怎么了。病人说：“我因为那个医生说的‘好话’而快丧命了。”
