221. This Could Cost Me My $10M/Year Business

Comfort kills potential. I say potential & not success because you can still succeed in comfort yet fail to reach your maximum potential. It’s one of the most interesting concepts in business. Comfort is usually the sole reason why we start our endeavors. We want a better life, less stress & no problems whatsoever. The problem is that once we actually attain comfort, we all of a sudden place ourselves in a position of limitation. We start to excuse ourselves from doing what is required or not meeting the usual standard.This can reflect in both your life & business. Even if you are off your game by 0.01% due to comfort, you are still limiting your true potential. In some cases, it can even cost you your entire business in the long run. That is why you should never aspire to be comfortable. You should always be in discomfort, as this means you are growing, regardless of the success that you have achieved. The minute you get complacent is the minute you start going backwards & this is one thing that I have learnt in my own business. In this podcast, I’m going to be sharing my thoughts on comfort & why you must view it as the biggest opponent in your pursuit of success. I hope you find it helpful.
