What this episode covers
Harvard researchers gave 84 hotel housekeepers a single piece of information: that their daily work already met the Surgeon General's physical activity guidelines. Four weeks later, that group had lower blood pressure, more fat loss, better BMI, and healthier waist-to-hip ratios. The other group, who were told nothing, had no significant changes. Same workload. Different belief. In this episode, Amy breaks down what's actually happening physiologically when you reframe how you think about your habits, and why for women in perimenopause, the story you tell about your routine may be affecting your results just as much as the routine itself.
