#222 - Creating A Family Mission Statement

As the end of the holiday season typically leads to thoughts about the new year, I thought it would be a great idea to do something different this year. Instead of sitting down and doing a family budget or setting personal goals, I thought it would be a great time to consider creating a family mission statement. If you think about it, as a mom, you and your children are not traveling this life alone. You are making your way through the world connected as part of a family. So why does that matter? Because it gives you the opportunity to not only know your own purpose - who you are and where you want to go - but to also determine the purpose of your family unit. Why does your family exist? What does it stand for? Where are you going together? What matters to you? Why this combination of personalities, likes, and dislikes?
