222 - Rufus’s Mom

Romans 16:13Greet Rufus, chosen in the Lord, and his mother, who has been a mother to me, too.Romans 12:4–5For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.We are individually members of one another.Rufus’s mom was like a mother to Paul. I wonder what that was like—did she open her home to him on the road? Offer him a warm meal? Comfort and encourage him in his work? Tend to his wounds?
