222. Verloren en vergeten - Star Wars Podcast

In de afgelopen jaren zijn we overspoeld met nieuwe Star Wars-series en films. Maar wat we soms vergeten, is dat dit nog maar het topje van de ijsberg was. Oorspronkelijk lagen er plannen voor een veel grotere, ambitieuzere expansie van het Star Wars-universum. Groots aangekondigde projecten, trilogieën, films en series die ons naar onbekende sterrenstelsels zouden brengen. Maar in een sterrenstelsel ver vandaan verdwijnen plannen net zo snel als ze worden aangekondigd. Sommige ideeën halen het witte doek of het kleine scherm, andere stranden in de coulissen van Lucasfilm, nog voordat de camera’s beginnen te draaien. Het lijkt haast alsof er een vloek rust op Star Wars-projecten: creatieve meningsverschillen, wisselingen van regisseurs, botsende visies en productionele stormen gooien keer op keer roet in het eten. Dus de vraag blijft: wat is er gebeurd met die talloze films en series die ons ooit met veel bombarie zijn beloofd? Waar zijn de verhalen die we nooit te zien kregen?
