224 - Peter's First Sermon - Part 2

Peter's First Sermon - Part 2. Acts 2:22-24. So, we are still in the midst of Peter's first sermon, just covering the next few verses. Peter addresses his audience again, introducing Jesus to them this time, but not by name as he only calls Him, Jesus of Nazareth, instead of Jesus the Christ, but that's OK, because that's how they knew of Him. And, instead of referring to Jesus as the Christ, Peter describes Jesus the Christ by the things He did, and the things that were done to Him, that those in Peter's audience knew of first hand. What kind of things did this Jesus of Nazareth do? What was done to Him, and who was responsible for them done to Him?
