He is a Lecturer in the School of Media, Film and Journalism at Monash University. He is a video storyteller on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok where he creates educational videos about design, cities and his home of Melbourne, Australia. Julian completed his PhD in the Mobility Design Lab at Monash University where he researched urban design, micromobility and outreach. He holds qualifications in engineering design and business, and is a Fulbright Scholar and was named the Australian YouTube Breakout Creator of the Year.
