Chayce McDermott?4.DJ Herz shoves it on Saturday. I’ve been writing about him for years. He doesn’t throw hard, but it’s also getting a ton of whiffs. The change-up is pretty good. He did get 21 whiffs on 45 swings on Saturday, which is pretty good. It was against the Marlins. Thoughts?5.The Astros parted ways with Jose Abreu, getting over 50% of this contract. Ouch. Joey Loperfido didn’t get the call, but that could have been because he needs to spend 10 days in Triple-A (unless there is an injury). Is he the guy who eventually takes over?6.Are you ready to trust Edwin Diaz again?7.Hunter Brown is starting to look good? Thoughts?8.Gerrit Cole had a nice Triple-A tune up. 10K in 4.2 IP.
