Weighing your food takes 10 seconds. Carrying extra weight you hate takes years. Pick one. The cookie analogy. You follow a recipe with measured amounts and don't think twice about it. Weighing your chicken portion is the exact same action. The only difference is the emotional story you've attached to it. The money analogy. You can't fix a budget problem if you refuse to look at your bank statements. You can't troubleshoot your food if you won't measure it. You can't fix what you won't measure. You weigh to build the system, not forever. Once your meal cards exist, the decisions are already made. Pick a card, eat it, done. No tracking apps, no obsessing. Eating with your family is the goal. You weigh your portion, they eat from the same pot. That's it. It's not complicated. Out-of-routine eating is 10% of your life.
