#229 Concert Report: Weezer & Fountains of Wayne in Boca Raton, Florida

We kick off the ep. with garden talk. Why is growing shit so hard? Bury the lead…the ladies recap their epic trip to Boca Raton, FL  for Boca’s 100th anniversary, featuring a concert with Fountains of Wayne and Weezer. Boca is the weirdest…the restaurants are basic but expensive, everything closes early, but the mayor is dope as hell. The hotel was amazing, and Anthony is the best. Hot tip…the city shuts down at 10 pm, except Cluck Face. BTW, Cluck Face is effing delicious. The  Bocca socials could use some work. “We’re going to see Weezer in a park.” We had to do a deep dive on the Bocca Mayor’s socials. Spoiler Alert: The SOSS gals meet the mayor! The Ladies have some advice about someone trying to be low-key shady about a unisex bathroom. The local weatherman introduces Fountains of Wayne as Fountains of Youth. Maya recounts her friend dying in the pandemic, and what it meant for this reunion. FOW plays with new members and kills it. Welcome to Fountains of Wayne, Max Collins from Eve 6! Well done, sir! The ladies go backstage to say hi. Then, Weezer! The costumes, the interstitials, and all the epic songs!  The next day, Maya and Amy practice what Maya calls “hoteling”. Finally, Amy battles the hotel toilet.
