#229 Gypsy Rose Blanchard & Mama DeeDee

from True Crime Guys · host True Crime Guys

Back in 2015, Gypsy Rose Blanchard, a “Sick teenager”, working with her boyfriend, stabbed her mother to death in their home in Springfield Missouri. Gypsy had lived her entire life being told, by her mother, that she had life threatening illnesses and that she needed constant care, from her mother of course. But eventually Gypsy wised up, and learned as a teen, that the “diseases” she had been fighting since childhood, were actually all fabricated by her mom. With Gypsy's release from prison a few weeks ago, we thought, why not revisit this one, see how we feel a few years later….. The original was released Nov 13th 2019. So if you wanna know what Lorne and Michael thought about this case a few years ago, go check that episode out, we will link it below!
