23.10 Question and Answer Session (Part 3)

Dr. Vern Charette starts off the panel's answering to the question of the believer's identity and significance with by sharing a statement from African American pastor, Dr. Tony Evans, whose statement really helps put some great perspective to this issue.    The panel also provides insight and answers to issues affecting both clergy and the laity.  How do ministry leaders handle community events such as funerals when the discussion is leading to an obvious conflict of spiritual interests when families want both traditional and Christian elements included in such delicate issues such as funerals, etc.  How does an everyday Native believer respond to workplace issues where animism permeates the workplace and they are expected to participate, or at least feels strong pressure to do so?  All important issues where good thoughtful answers see the light of day in today's edition of Indigenous Faith!  As always, we pray the Lord will guide you, the listener, as you seek to live out your faith in the context of our Native cultures and communities!
