Malo  and welcome to Season 3 Episode 54 of Breakfast Bites, by  TeivovoSports.com – a wrap of Pasifika Peoples sports on a sunny but  slightly cloudy Wednesday morning 23 November 2022, coming to you from  paradise on the 180th meridian in the middle of the Pacific Ocean!  Love  you Raymond. In  Qatar – FIFA World Cup results from this morning: Saudi Arabia has  produced one of the great World Cup upsets, stunning tournament  favourites Argentina 2-1. Tiny Tunisia held Denmark to a nil all draw,  while the great Robert Lewandowski missed a penalty so Poland and Mexico  drew nil all also and USA 1-1 Wales. Tomorrow  watch out for: Germany vs Japan, Spain vs Costa Rica, Morocco vs  Croatia and Belgium vs Canada, 7pm at Ahmed bin Ali Stadium. So why Qatar again? FIFA has banked a record US$7.5Billion in commercial deals for the four years associated with this World Cup in Qatar. That is a cool US$1B more than from the 2018 World Cup in Russia, boosting FIFA’s reserves to around US$2.5B. BREAKING NEWS: Cristiano Ronaldo has left Man U with immediate effect, the Club confirmed in a statement which read: ‘Cristiano Ronaldo is to leave Manchester United by mutual agreement, with immediate effect. Ronaldo’s  exit has been agreed by mutual consent although it is unclear at this  stage if the 37-year-old Portugal star has been sacked or received any  compensation for the remaining seven months of his £500,000-a-week  contract at Old Trafford. Ronaldo’s departure was triggered by his explosive interview with Piers Morgan last week. In  rugby league – top British Super League Club the Bradford Bulls has  signed up Papua New Guinea Kumuls powerhouse forward, Keven Appo for  their 2023 season after his outstanding performances at the recent Rugby  League World Cup. In boxing – the  Tyson Fury-Derek Chisora fight, which will take place on 3 December at  the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London will be shown on BT Sport Box  Office for UK viewers, with punters having to shell out £26.95 - a new  high for the platform. The price exceeds the Gypsy King's recent wins over Deontay Wilder and Dillian Whyte. Punters maybe complaining now, BUT after a few pints of beer on a cold December night – they’ll pay!
