23.14 Craig Smith - What to Surrender, What to Keep (Part 3)

In this third episode of Craig's final teaching session from the summer 2022 Indigenous Faith Leader's Conference, he continues to lay out the practical steps in processing our Indigenous cultures and traditions in light of the revealed Scriptures.  Pastor Smith lays out some key theological guidelines in processing culture before Craig addresses one more important step.  Following the same biblical teaching guidelines he presented to the audience, Craig responds to the very indicting quote of Richard Twiss that was shared in the initial session of this series as an illustration on how to do good contextualization of the gospel without slipping down the slope to syncretism, all within the North American Indigenous scene.  Craig and LaDonna trust everything presented at that conference, and shared with you, our broadest listening audience, will help establish many more biblically healthy followers of Christ within the Native American and First Nations communities of faith across North America.  With the international growth of this podcast, Indigenous cultures worldwide now have an important tool to aid them in the same process.  With only a couple more episodes left in this series, it's time to start thinking through how you will move forward in processing the culture you have been raised in, all guided by the timeless truths of God's Holy Word!  We can't wait to join you again next week as we near the finishing line of Indigenous Faith!
