23.23 Called to Obedience (Part 3)

from Indigenous Faith · host Craig & LaDonna Smith

Craig and LaDonna Smith present the third and final installment of their teaching session titled, Called to Obedience.  In today's episode, the Smiths continue to delve into the issue of disobedience and the results it leaves believers and non-believers with. They remind us of the danger of complacency because we don't often see God's judgement come in the same ways the Old Testament Children of Israel experienced, which is immediate vs deferred judgement.  It seems a whole lot easier to keep going down the disobedience road because we don't seem to be paying any consequences for it.  But let us not be deceived, dear friends, because as the great African-American preacher, Dr. E.V. Hill reminds us, PAYDAY SOMEDAY!  If we've been obedient, what great joys and blessings await us.  If we've been disobedient, it's not going to look pretty when we are called to account by the God who so deeply loves us and wants to bless us, when instead, He has to discipline us, but all out of His great love.  The Smiths trust these past three sessions have been helpful to you in your walk in the Lord and as you seek to build a lasting and strong Indigenous Faith!
