Whazup Groovers, Mr. Mama created a groovy mix for the After Work Radioshow. Mr.Mama embarked on his DJ career in 1993 when he acquired his first vinyl singles. Initially, presenting music to the public seemed rather peculiar, but fueled by a strong conviction, he persevered with the support of some friends and eventually found himself hosting a radio program called "Studio 100 FM" near a local station. This experience proved to be instrumental in his career, granting him the opportunity to share his music through the airwaves and gain exposure to a broader audience. His music found its way onto several esteemed record labels, including Luis Benedetti's Soulshine Records, Tony Records (Tony Humphries' label), Battlewax Records (Louie Balo), Baainar Records (South Africa's Lunga Nombewu), Cyberjamz Records, and many others. Inspired by the likes of Osunlade, Louie Vega, Tony Humphries, Kerri Chandler, Dave Lee, Roy Ayers, Stephanie Mills, War, John Coltrane, Herbie Hancock, Luther Vandross, and ATCQ, Mr.Mama continues to hone his craft and establish himself as an artist of exceptional talent and influence in the industry.
