from Periods & Power Moves · host Vianney Leigh

This week on the podcast, I have the amazing Ileri Jaiyeoba from Code Red Collective on the show. In 2015 Ileri Jaiyeoba established Code Red Co. as an organization pushing for an end to period poverty in the city of Atlanta, fast forward to now, Code Red Co. has grown into being a co-powering collective cooperative that functions to promote period wellness and de-stigmatization through literacy, aid, and advocacy. The Code Red Co. Cooperative is full of coordinators from different backgrounds and of all ages working in collective effort to advocate on behalf of menstruators period wellness needs. Ileri is an excellent example of taking your own personal experience and turning it into a mission to help others.
