23: Five Steps to a NEW LIFE

from Front Seat Life Podcast · host Jessica Butts

I have five BIG lessons today that I would like to share with you in reflection of this somewhat monumental occasion for me, the eighth anniversary of my graduation from Graduate school. I am a big believer in looking back at the past and seeing how far you have come, and not just at the beginning of the year.I was prompted to share these five steps today not just because of the date, but I have a lot of big changes happening in my world and remembering how I got to this point really inspired me to share today’s episode. These are five of the main things that I’ve realized I have learned over the last eight years since leaving graduate school:Letting go of the old and allowing the new.Stepping into the unknown and feeling what that feels like.Dreaming and planning. Visualizing, hanging out with like-minded people.Your. Ass. Off.Creating a new life takes new takes “new.” Act accordingly. You’re going to want to listen to this episode because it has some mojo. I reveal what I understand, what big lessons I’ve learned by looking back at the last eight years and drilling down to the essence of what has really moved the needle for me.These are the steps that have taken me from quitting my dreadful job, finding my path, getting into graduate school, opening my office and having one $10/week client, to pure awesomeness today. Looking back on those eight years I can hardly believe it, and could not have predicted it. But I was able to bring it into reality… with the help of these five steps.Thank you again for listening. I hope that this has been helpful. I love bringing you this content. Please share this if it’s inspiring and you feel like it’s worthy and let me know how this is impacting you. As always, if you ever want to reach out or DM me or send me a message or send me love or something, I would love to hear from you.For more about Jessica and her upcoming events, visit https://jessicabutts.comFollow her on Instagram @frontseatlife for daily motivation. Not sure what your Myers Briggs personality type is?
