23. Friendships- without social media, long distance & in the digital age.

Hello beautiful listeners! I hope you're all keeping well and are having a fantastic week. On today's podcast, Cristina and Monica catch up on their week and talk about Cristina's birthday festivities. They discuss the importance of human connection especially the bonds in friendships and how these have been maintained during the pandemic. Monica explains what her friendships look like post Instagram life and whether she feels disconnected from the world due to her social media absence. Cristina mentions that social media can be a powerful tool to connect with people you don't speak to on an ongoing basis and even reunite you with long distance friends. There are pros and cons to using social media as a means to connect with friends but we believe that making time in your diary to spend undivided quality time with friends whether that's over zoom or over a cup of coffee can really strengthen and deepen those connections with loved ones.
