from MechaDragon Hosted by MechaDragon
Season 3 of MechaDragon begins with an in-depth discussion of JOKER, with returning guest Eric Hanson. We start with a very brief NON-Spoiler review, followed by a spoiler-heavy discussion. Topics include: Sympathy for the devil (how the movie generates empathy for one of the most iconic supervillains of all time); Joker controversy and how the film portrays violence; gritty realism in a comic book movie; thoughts on the film's social commentary and how it resonates worldwide; and much more. Also: Is the movie a definitive origin for the Joker? What ACTUALLY happened and what was just in his head? Will Joaquin Phoenix's Joker cross over into other DCEU movies? Which version of the Joker is our favorite, and why? And whose name will Will mispronounce this episode?? Come geek out with us and find out!
