'23 was a big year for political recalls

Ballotpedia’s year-end recall report found that 18.31% of elected officials targeted for recalls in 2023 were removed from office–the highest percentage of successful recalls since 2018.  Joshua Spivak is Senior Research Fellow at Berkeley Law's California Constitution Center and at the Hugh L.
