230: WWE Takes on the Coronavirus - What Should They Do About WrestleMania?

Recorded 3/12/20.The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has resulted in the NBA, NHL, MLS, MLB, XFL, March Madness, and more college sports suspending events and/or completely canceling them. So why is it that WWE's WrestleMania is still scheduled to go on in Tampa on April 5? They've already canceled a house show in Ohio, but what do they need to do next? Their statement on March 12 reads:"While we remain committed to hosting WrestleMania at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday, April 5, we are putting contingency plans in place in the event that it is cancelled by government officials, civil authorities and/or local venues. The health and safety of our fans, performers and employees are our top priorities and we are monitoring the situation closely with our partners and government officials in Tampa Bay."Certainly reads like they're not going to cancel it unless they're forced to. Now they're currently the outlier - is it worth it? What happens to WrestleMania? Is it canceled? Is it moved? Is it postponed to a later date? The guys discuss.Also, remember when you were a kid and loved wrestling growing up? What caused adults to become so jaded that they hate-watch wrestling now? At the WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view this past week in Philly, Vaughn and his daughter went to the show and his daughter loved it. After all, WWE's product is mostly for the kids, right?
