Thank you so much for your support. Hello, welcome to No Plas, just a clap. I'm Doug and- Oh, I'm sorry. No, go ahead.
I'm Doug. No, I'm Doug. I'm Doug. I'm Rob.
I'm Doug. I'm Ronk. Alright, well now we're retreading that. But Doug, with me is Deb.
And we are having a hoot. No. Earlier today I noticed you had a slight tremor. Yeah, I had a tremor.
It's worse than my right hand than anywhere else. But I was going to say- That would make for a very fun night for Doug. But anyway, I am ambidexorous in that regard. Anyway, like I said, it gets exacerbated by a blooded trigger.
What does that mean? Exacerbated? That's a shot of the dead. Oh, sorry.
Don't be so like to exacerbate things. What does that mean? What does that mean? It means to make them worse.
No, but what does that mean? It gets worse, like I said, for some of the medication I'm on or if I haven't eaten yet for it, if I haven't slept enough. Pretty much any physical condition gets worse. But you noticed my tremor.
It came up with a fantastic life. Based on that, you haven't been watching a lot of DCTV lately. But that Ollie asked Diggle to take over Green Arrow. I was like Green Lantern again.
Green Arrow, despite the fact that he, Ollie doesn't know that Diggle has nerve damage and a tremor. Not great for a bow. They end up building on like a, not a Gatling gun, but like an automatic crossbow. Because it's like, oh, we've noticed that the Green Arrow is in Trigant Heroes.
Because it does hand to hand combat the whole way through, just by having so much shot. But don't worry about that. He's flying. He was in the crossover, which we'll talk about later.
That, yeah, I said, oh my god, like, I want to be Ollie to your Diggle. But I'm really, your full, your fullicity. Yep. God damn it.
You love that. Okay. Sorry, I think it's great. So in light of that, let's just get it right into it with Crisis on, yeah, with the Crisis on Earth X.
They actually hyped it so much that the CW app sent me a notification that they were streaming it on my phone. So it was highly anticipated, not just by you. Yeah, like I'm the only one to watch, is it? But it was highly anticipated in that they had four shows that they had Supergirl involved.
And that, unlike Last Crossover, which was the Dominator's one, which was called Invasion, I believe, based on the DC storyline invasion. Fun fact, they didn't go that far out of the realm of naming things. That Supergirl really didn't play a huge part in that crossover last year. It was basically like a way to get to show Vibes of Powers or Cisco's Powers.
And that a Dominator, I think, first shows up in Supergirl and then, like, very follows the Dominator there and then back. Like, Supergirl wasn't a huge part of it. She was just kind of bigger. Yeah, she was my guffin at that point.
Pretty much, yeah. She was a mean student. Yes. Whereas this crossover, we're gonna call it Crisis, because once again the whole joke of DC has crisis and Marvel has wars, which we will, oh, it's not a list.
We need to talk about the Infinity War trailer. I just want to talk to the other. We're not gonna get into that right now. I don't want a lot of cross talk on the DC Marvel stuff, because I really do want to be very clear.
Go ahead. Yeah. So, Crisis on the Infinity Earth. What I liked about it, every character had their moment.
They really did do a good job in giving every character their moment, except for a long get a man-relf didn't. He wasn't in it. But then again, I chuffed that up to you. I was like, I'm not the best player on the Flash.
And you don't watch The Flash this season, but you know, Ralph Disney is a huge part of it, is the Flash taking on a new hero to mentor the way that no, he's a stretchy person. I don't think they have a code name for that other than stretchy person. It's some kind of body. It's this more of you.
Literally his power is this more of you. I was gonna say body modifier. But okay. Nah, it's no, because it's like, I'm actually a mister fantastic as well.
It's all like cellular changing. It's like you gotta imagine like how they eat if their body's stretched that way. like when you stretch your intestines that way. I believe Mark Miller and Brian Bendis addressed that in Ultimate Fantastic Four, which was Mr.
Fantastic has like this weird bag of bacteria, like a pliable bag of bacteria in his body instead of a digestive system or a circulatory system. Does this talk about crisis support? Anyway, every character had their moment, and I liked that. I liked that some people personally in my personal life complain about that they're running out of villains, so they're just gonna show the evil versions of themselves with Green Arrow being the Fuhrer.
Does he have a beard? No. Well, I mean, I was another normal, all-y, you know, unshavenness. I was hoping I was gonna give him a mustache.
No, no, no. That happens way in the future, according to the Legends of Tomorrow, because that's, I believe, Star City 2046 or something. Yeah, then he has the iPad. He doesn't not have my patch.
Why did Green Arrow have a night patch? I had a colleague to think, hmm, I don't think he ever had my patch. She says, I just have that memory somewhere in my head. I don't think he ever had my patch.
I don't think he ever had my patch. I don't think he did. We'll get into eye patches in depth for perception later when we get to a different thing. Okay.
Yeah, no, that will actually be brought up, if you remember. So what I liked about it, once again every character has their moments, John Tiggle as an officiant married Iris and Barry, they're finally married, yay, because Nazis invaded their wedding, Earth X and Nazis. Oh. What's the worst thing that could happen?
Nazis invaded your wedding. Yeah, like you never thought Nazis. Oh no, Nazis. And they were like, what are they?
There was a whole episode dedicated to why are they invading us? Which by the way, I loved Rory or McRory's heat wave. Dominic Purcell going, great lakes, they're delicious. Like Rory is the reason to watch the entire crossover, especially when you realize that his Earth X version ran into a birding building over and over again to save policemen.
And when he finds that out, it is one of the best lines where he goes, I died saving pigs. Look, that line to me seems more edgy on a CW show. Like, yeah, like I died saving pigs. Like, at one point he's seated in the wedding next to the police commissioner in central city from the flash.
And they're like, do we know you? And he's like, I hate pigs. Like, he outright calls them pigs the entire crossover. I like that.
I didn't like that there was kind of the actual McGuffin was removing Earth 38 or our Supergirls. We call our Supergirl. Her heart to replace the Earth X Supergirl's heart because she literally flown too close to the sun. Shit, writing.
Yeah, she's really rigorous. That gets mentioned. Like, literally she was literally, literally rigorous. And you're like, oh my god, for fuck's sake.
That's what happens when someone gets kicked off the show for sexual harassment. You don't have an extra person there to check that. Not that I'm defending. Is it Cresberg?
Is it Cresberg or Cresberg? You're kicked off? Anyway. No, you're not defending.
They're really sucks at people's bad behavior ruining things that the rest of us liked. Yeah. So people, they ruin everything. I can't watch American Beauty anymore without thinking bad, bad things.
Like, maybe he should have hit on the kid that he might have actually fucking got a blow job from that kid instead of making out with his dad. That was weird. OK, cool. So anyway, I didn't let that Macguffin.
I didn't like to arrow. Earth X, all the queen was a fuhrer. That made no sense. Like, you think over a girl, there's a super girl, would be like the height of power.
I mean, A, Aryan bombshell. And B, all the powers. Like, yeah, she was married to Earth X, all the way, which makes fucking no sense. No sense either.
Right. Because they never mentioned there's no Earth X world. Like, I thought that was a missed opportunity. So I guess not everybody was in it.
You know, she's working on a different show. No, she's not. She's on a narrow. Yeah, but she works on another show, too.
So she might have had a scheduling conference. Oh, OK. Another one. I can't remember now.
I was never seeing her in a commercial. But like I said, she might have just had a scheduling conflict. OK. I think it was a lot better crossover.
I know I had more points to bring up about this that I've now since forgotten since I watched it last week. But I really wish that they had power girls at some point. I think I'm going to go. I'm going to go to her giant wreck.
I love what I would love is to see power girl and then have, you know, actually, did you watch? How much of the Justice League go to have you watched? Quite a bit. It's Supergirl's clone.
It's one that's aged a few years old. Yeah. But like in the comics, they asked Supergirl, I'm sorry, they asked power girl why she has that whole intercostume, which shows off her amazing cleavage. Because she's got giant fucking rat.
Oh, yeah. Every time I've seen a cop. Thanks, Amanda Connor. Like I said, every time I've seen a cop's play, I bet the girl just looks like she's about to explode out of the costume.
Which, but they explained that she originally had joined this earth because she's got a really bad origin, mobile origin. But that she's definitely a good human's cousin from an alternate blah, blah, blah. Yeah. And that she always wanted the S there.
Some people are just. Other than obviously owning power girl. But without anything to find her, she's left that blank. Which is a great explanation of an exploited costume.
Thanks, Jeff Johns, for filling that in to not making it just seem like us horny nerds. Wanna look at me? Yeah, which we do. But thank you.
Everybody likes to do this. But thank you for justifying it in a way that makes sense. So I have power girl. Way after.
But crisis, I think, one thing like much of the defenders, it only changes things for a certain amount of characters. Supergirl doesn't really get changed. Now her sister, who had a one-night stand with, went Camari. Yeah.
Oh, I like that. Yeah. Yeah. You wanna watch two hot chicks make out?
Like I said, right? Crisis is your crossover. So that one down is another one to make into a porno. Well, but it implies that there could be a better crossover because they're divided by Earth's and time.
Which, anyway, it wasn't that tomorrow didn't really have a whole lot to it other than, and I almost got weaved up. I'm holding your hand. I'm holding your wrist. I'm just be careful.
I might first again. Oh, I don't want to. But kidding or less. Do that.
We knew Victor Garver was going to leave Legends of Tomorrow. Yeah, I mean, he left on good terms with that, and he said he was really happy with the work that he'd done. But yeah. He gets shot by Nazis, helping Supergirl, and then sacrifices himself so that Jax, who's actual anchor, I can't think of his name, the Black guy, effectively, the token Black guy, gets the same team, without any powers.
And he's got half of the, effectively he's got half of Firestorm blocked in him. I don't want to see Firestorm go by the wayside. But I've been perfectly honest outside of that. When he died, I got a little weebie, and during the funeral scene, I got a lot weebie.
What was the funeral scene like? Oh, God, Jesus Christ. When his widow, not widow, Victor Garver's widow, Stein's widow, and his daughter and grandson are there at the funeral. And he's like, I let you down.
Like you want to rejoin his family. You know, all this. And then they'll go, Jackson, you were closer to him, like then some of us were. You're his family too.
And they all hug. I was like, tears? Holy shit. Once again, all the fields.
I liked it. And last year they went, dominators. How are they going to top it? OK, they're going to top it by making it better, because dominators and invasion was mediocre at best.
But I honestly wonder what storyline they're going to do that's going to be better than the crisis on Earth Axe. And we get a new Captain Cold. So all of you jailbreak fans, you get your, well, we don't know, a Weebie Miller is back as the Earth Axe Captain Cold, who I know the actors gay, but the character is not. Well, yes, he is.
Oh, the character's super gay. No pun intended in that. He's dating a metahuman on Earth Axe, which is the ray, who didn't really, he was instrumental in terms of that. He was from Earth One.
He was on Earth Axe. He returns to Earth Axe. But without Earth Axe Captain Cold, it's all very confusing, folks. And it shouldn't be.
And it's kind of crap, because why wouldn't he follow his lover back to Earth Axe to become one of the freedom fighters? And the answer to that is because he's going to be doing an animated series on the CW scene without Captain Cold. So there you go. But we don't know where Leo, no, excuse me, not Len Snart, but Leo Snart.
Who's a good guy? He ends up coming into contact with Higuav, and he's like, you know, Nick is getting drunk, as he normally does. And Leo's like, you don't need to drink to avoid your feelings. And of course, Mick in a classic Mick goes, ah, god damn it, the ghost is back, and just starts punching himself in the head.
Oh my god. The second season. Yeah. And he's like, no, I'm not a ghost.
He's like, well, they need to like give me my beer back. So I don't know whether Leo, Snart, will appear on The Flash or Legends. I haven't seen any promo stuff. I haven't avoided spoilers in that.
But I don't know where he's going to appear. If he's going to be a Flash character. If he is a Flash character, I would imagine he would take the role of, in the comics, the pipe-piper who did come back as a good guy in Flash season. What?
Two or three? After Flash point, I believe pipe-piper came back as a good guy, which I was like, OK, that happened in the comics. But the pipe-piper has not been around since his reintroduction into Flashpoint. I'm wondering if Leo will take that role as bad guy turned.
Good guy. Also, that he is something that Thinker probably didn't think about, no pun intended. But that the Thinker could probably not foresee this huge crossover and factor in an alternate version of someone who's dead on this Earth. He doesn't know.
I mean, he knows that Captain Colby's a bad guy who suddenly disappeared because he won't have to fuck off the Legends. But other than that, there's nothing about Leonard Snart. So I think that maybe Leo Snart may become the clutch player against the Thinker in Flash is my theory. OK, I can see how that would work.
Yeah. Because he's the unknown element. Exactly. Got it.
But otherwise, I realized everyone had their moment except for the people that I left out. But Meg Rory is the reason to watch it. Oh, and Felicity, well, all of her proposes to Felicity. She yells, well, for real this time.
Oh, no, I guess it was for real the first time. But their wedding was fake, because I was Cupid. And she does bring that up, where Ollie does propose to her. And she yells accidentally very loudly, I don't want to marry you during the rehearsal dinner of Barry and Iris.
So that's a no one. That's a no one. That's a no one in the proposal? That would be a no.
And she says, we don't need to be a paper to prove that we love each other. What we've got going is great, which I have to do with girls like that. I agree. Oh, no.
Sometimes you don't want to change the parameters of your relationship or if you're a fan of it. Well, also, remember what happened last time she had every wedding. It's like, I got to talk about Cupid. She might have been or may not.
She totally was. Paraplagic sized, paralyzed, rather. Paraplagic. Paraplagic.
I mean, that's still paralyzed. Okay. It's down. That's just part of the count.
So what kind of dick proposes that somebody's rehearsal dinner? You got to let the cop have their day. Ollie. So in the end, while Diggle is officiating Iris and Ollie, it's very cute, very gender reversal, Felicity proposes to Ollie, which I love that he was like so nervous.
He's like, I, I, I, yeah, yes. Totally take enough guard. I loved it. Did you like the wedding?
Yes. Well, they were like, well, while you're doing this, like, well, we get married to you. Which is, all the in Felicity, I think their wedding should have been built up the same way that Iris and Berries was. So to have them kind of go like, well, we got married, like, thanks, Diggle.
Like it just seemed like it didn't need to be there. And it took away from Iris and Berries whole thing. Like, oh, I think you have to have their day. Absolutely agree.
So there are issues. Now do things change, I talked about this earlier. Things don't change for a supergirl. They change for her sister because, yeah, how does it be an action?
Do they change for Flash? Yes, he's married to the change for Arrow. Yes, they're married now. What about legends you said as a new captain?
Well, I mean, I studied like Sarah and whoever the sister is on Supergirl. Whatever her name is. I hate you or something like that. Yeah.
I like them getting together. Like it was, they did talk about it's so hard to hook up Sarah with someone who should deserve her and she deserves an Alex, is her name. That just came to me. Wow, let's be with a guy's name.
A little on the nose, DC. Just saying not going that far out of the box, so to speak. No pun intended. Nissa is a perfectly reasonable piece.
They bring her up. That Alex broke up with what is her name in the comic. It's the same character, but she's not a lesbian in the comics. Maggie Sawyer, who's a huge part in the Superman mythology with the Metropolis Major Crimes Unit.
Oh, yeah. I remember that. Or whatever. Metropolis Special Unit or whatever MSC, or whatever it is.
Her and, oh, fuck it's a rock. I can't think of the guy's name, but anyway. But Maggie Sawyer's a thing in the comics. I guess they broke up because Maggie Sawyer didn't want kids and Alex Supergirl's sister but, uh, did one kid say that right?
No, he said Maggie Sawyer didn't want kids and Alex didn't want kids. I got him flipped. So, um, and then she hooks up with white canary and he's like, oh my god, I had a one night sandwich. I have never known a lesbian to freak out of that one night stand.
But I guess that's against the stereotype of a one night stand meets, yeah, like they're picking up curtains. I didn't just say it. Not me curtains, just curtains. That fucking hits you right now.
I know that was a good show, but. No, it wasn't. Okay. So we'll see what that means with Legends you've got what could be Leo on the team.
You know, obviously though, no Victor Garber is a huge thing in Legends. No Firestorm, no nuclear man, not the family. Sorry, trucker thought. No, he's gone.
Cool. Great truck drove by the end. Well, there's no garbage to pick up over there anymore. So they're just passing through.
But, uh, so no Firestorm, no nuclear man, not that they did that much transmutation at all. They just lost fireballs. Um, but yes, we'll see where they go, Jax on that one. It's obviously going without the psychic connection and the death and, you know, how will the legends go on, so to speak?
And I mean, a lot of legends were touched by that, uh, Ray Palmer. Yeah. Professor Stein was one of his professors. Yep.
So we'll see. Legends probably hit pretty much the hardest outside of where Leo snart ends up. Um, but outside of that, Legends was pretty much the hardest. So we'll see.
But I'm going to see where they go from it sees on families and all these shows. Separate Supergirl, who gives a fuck? Um, they're gonna have not Ruben, is it Ruben? Rain.
Rain. Who apparently is like a, like a step and ask character. If I can make a Justice League reference here, uh, the movie, not the comic, but, uh, yeah, like effectively unknown bad guy as a major bad guy or girl, girl woman woman for villainess, maybe just say villain. Oh, you prefer the none.
Okay. I don't think you need to use it. So we'll see the Supergirl. Fuck that bullshit.
Um, I'm glad it's been, I'm glad that they've finally on the third season come more CW than CBS. It has become a CW show. Um, I still don't want to watch it. I don't.
I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know.
I don't know. I can't follow all of the dumb soap opera shit on Supergirl. And I'm saying that having watched Flax and Arrow, um, and the whole lesbian time distance earth thing with, um, Alex and, uh, what is what can I do? Sarah.
No, thank you. Yeah, sorry. Um, but yeah, like, I, I, super like it just, it doesn't, okay. Great.
Okay. You want to talk about the Infinity War trailer real quick? Can we talk about the, can I get into a kind of a long thing about the whole, um, know with the iPad thing? Just so we can, I can remember that.
Yeah, of course. And we'll get into an Infinity trailer just to remind you about that. So speaking of depth perception and eye patches, um, I watched Kingsman, uh, this, the Golden Circle. Is it just called Kingsman?
The Golden Circle. I don't think that loves movies because they've been doing their 12 guests at Christmas. I'm all about like full title. No, I think it's Kingsman.
Because it was Kingsman, the Secret Service for the first one. Okay. So I watched Kingsman 2. Yeah.
That was fuck my, I just gave myself the finger folks. Um, so I watched Kingsman 2. I liked it. It has everything you'd want from a Kingsman sequel.
Um, also has their American version, which is the Statesman, which is like, uh, it's how we bury him, and Jeff Bridges, you know, Jeff Bridges. And some guy who plays, uh, whiskey and Orjack Daniels, I swear to God character name. Yeah. Do you know, uh, how he buries character name that?
Ginger ale. I shit you not. Okay. Shit you not.
Um, you do see the American version, uh, the Statesman with a sell whiskey and they're like, oh, thank God, like, you know, we didn't go into Taylor ring with the way the Kingsman did. Um, like basically the dukes of hazard. Yeah, actually kind of. Yeah.
Yeah. Where they're like, he, uh, we're going to solve everything with electrical asso. Um, or just jump over the constitution and dive off to the sunset. Very, very, very nice pattern.
Nice pattern reference there. Um, which I haven't watched half. We'll talk about next week because I do want to talk about Happy, eventually, which is like Chris Mulani, uh, and Oswald new show on, I think, FX or Sapphire, what about it? It's based on the Grant Morrison and Derek Robertson, the Marvel novel.
That's all I'm going to say about that. I haven't seen it. So I patch. So you do find Colin Firth comes back with my bitch.
Uh, he tries to do like the, have you seen the first one? Of course. Yeah. He tries to do the man make if man or man makes manners.
Man makes manners make the man. Yeah. He tries to do that again. He has like no deception.
So he just like runs his sword into the ceiling or something? He effectively misses everything gets the shit kicked out of him. And then it's up to at that point the American Jack Daniel whiskey. Um, doesn't it whiskey to kick the fuck out of a pub full of hooligans with an electric lasso.
Now my issue with the whole movie. You just said electric lasso. Yeah. And this is the issue I'm going to have which has nothing to do with electric lasso.
I do like it. It's got everything that you want in a, you know, sequel. It's got like the other soon villain with, you know, the whole, the whole premise of it is that, and I believe it's what I don't like about it in a second. Okay.
Um, that Julianne Moore plays this effectively, an entrepreneur, but she's a drug dealer who has a $250 billion drug revenue. Wow. Yeah. She hides out in the Congo building a small town that looks like the set of happy days.
Um, like 50s diner, 50s bowling alley, bowling alley between the plot point. Um, it's not great. Um, Jess robot dogs named Benny and jet, which explain why she probably abducted, um, Elton John. He, she did that during the whole last movie where it's like, Oh, Samuel Jackson stealing all of the like celebrities.
I'm in steel, you know, Elton John to, you know, and no one will notice Elton John, by the way, enormous amount of F bombs. And I love it. He's having a very bad week this week. His mother passed away very unexpectedly.
Oh, oh, yeah. She would be like 103. She was, yes, she was in her late nineties. Cause he's gotta be in his seven, six, seven days.
God, I mean the seventies, right? I think she was around 93. So I mean, he could be in his early seventies. You know, well, people like with South Park where they were like, Oh, Magic Jordan, like found the cure to AIDS and it's money.
Like wouldn't that be more Elton John being actually fucking gay? Probably had a ton of butt sex and it hasn't gotten AIDS or anything. Like Zil dresses up like gay Donald Duck and kills it, but not with AIDS. So watch me.
And I'll watch him. Oh my God. Oh, it's a great speaker to show you. Okay.
So I'm really funny. The whole premise is that she's a drug dealer and introduces like some genetically engineered all the drugs like heroin, Coke, dope, all that. So basically no legal drug like caffeine, alcohol. She doesn't include pot, which, okay, at this point in time, at the time it's being filmed.
Okay. Now it's like, yeah, pot's pretty much legal. So what's really funny? Cause all the people can't see your hand gestures and you totally do one of these.
It was like, eh, I was basically doing the gorilla from Congo, ASL. Amy, ugly, gorilla, mean, or whatever. What's gorilla bad? I'm gorilla.
That was not, I need to rewatch Congo is the point of that story. Oh, I've risked Campbell's and that motherfucker. And I can't remember who else was in it. Oh, I've done Bruce Campbell.
Yeah, it's Bruce Campbell stealing diamonds and screaming. Yeah, he dies all the caffeine through. Cause he's like that. He's supposed to be the greedy foil.
So speak. Yeah. What else was in it? I want to say Sam Neil, but I'm not sure that's right.
It's been a really long time. Yeah, I know. Like, why don't we rewatch? Never mind.
Congo. I'm gonna rewatch it. We'll talk about it next week. But anyway, it's just me after rewatching an Akonda.
No. Okay, thanks. Who was in that? Akonda, blood or something like that?
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Now blood arkum, they were trying to find with John Foy. Okay. Cause he's like, I'm the bad guy.
But yeah, anyway, what were we on? Kingsman. So she poisons all the drugs and then she's gonna release the cure when they legalize it all. Thanks to the president played by Bruce Greenwood, who effectively is now the voice of Batman to me.
I love, I love him. I was at Tin Conway. I watched the caroburnet thing yesterday. Kevin Conroy, not Tin Conway.
That would be interesting Batman though. But Bruce Greenwood is the voice of the new Batman. Effectively. Yeah.
Yeah. I'm taking over from Kevin Conroy. So I think break up like blue rash and then they, what is it? They like dance or they become manic, but it's basically dance.
And then they paralyze, they get muscular paralyzed and then they just like bleed out completely because they can't breathe and their blood comes out or something. I'm not a doctor and I'm not sure it's medically accurate, but that's what happens. They exploded everyone's heads in the last movie. I don't think they're really concerned with it being medically accurate.
So one of the guys, actually, the one that was the Kingsman recruit that he ended up running into the club on the first one, he electrocutes with the ring. Do you remember that guy? He's back. He has no vocal cords or no arm.
He kind of becomes the jaws. If you were to put this in James Bond, he's kind of the, who's got the hat? Odd job. He's kind of the odd job of it all.
He's got a robotic arm and he has no vocal cords and he's dating some chicken to burn and have burning men, but Gloss and Berry, whatever. Gloss and Bury. No, it's Gloss and Berry. Or maybe that's the thing they eat in the shoe comic.
I'm not sure. But anyway, my point is ultimately what I've said about Kingsman, which is no spoilers because I've described it poorly. Extremely, but that's okay. I think it's worth watching.
I think it's worth watching. I think it's worth watching. I think it's worth watching. I wanted to see it in the theaters.
I just didn't have time. Julia Moore is a great bad guy. She doesn't get to be bad guys very often. No, she doesn't.
And I like that her and Jeff Bridges, they're not, they don't share scenes, but it's a nice mini-Lobowski reunion. Does she have an identifiable accent? No, it's very Americana. Oh, they were in Seven Sun together.
That is a piece of shit. Don't watch that, Bose. Watch Kingsman 2. Don't watch Seven Sun.
You know there was originally called the Apprentice of Spook. Is that? It's kind of racist. It's kind of racist.
Okay, cool. That's our wizard Spook. It's still this. That's kind of racist.
So my issue with it is the same that we've talked about last week where you have to insert Guardians of Galaxy and Guardians of the Galaxy 2 in terms of Kingsman and Kingsman 2. Where's everything I went in a sequel, but it wasn't as good as the first one. Why? Because we've already seen it.
We get it. He's a dapper. He's got the umbrella. They can see through and shoot and he's got all the gadgets and blah, blah, blah.
And once you do that, yes, it's a good movie. I liked it. But I mean, it's not as surprising as the first one was. Exactly.
Same with Guardians of the Guardians 2. Guardians of the Galaxy, rather than the Owls of the Guardians. Where did this trilogy ever? Or was it the Guardians of the Holidays?
Where were that? Where were like, it was like an Attachute Santa with the voice by Alex Baldwin? Remember that one? No.
You don't know what I'm talking about? I know what I'm talking about. Easter Bunny. It sounds awesome.
We're looking at Blade of the Rings. It was like Guardians of the Holidays, but it was like something like that. Like, Alex Baldwin was like a badass Russian. And not like, it's talking about Gulag Russian, but like, just a badass Russian Santa Claus was like, I guess he was kind of a Gulag Santa with the Attachute.
Fuck. Anyway, but Colin first was back and he has an eye patch and yeah. Manors make the man. When the American guy does it.
So the Ashland scene, once again, we're great. Everything touches a fucking church scene from the first movie, but they do get dangerously close in some of the bar fights. I have to tell you the answer. And I'm saying to him, why the fuck is he gonna, they could have gotten anyone else?
They literally do have a shot of him in his underwear on ice and his junk is still very prevalent and I'm like, not my cryobath. Sorry, but like ultimate shrinkage. Okay, but I don't think he can step up to that. Shut up and let me.
Give a better joke. Let me finish this sentence, will you? Yeah. You gotta move it ahead.
See? It's worth a joke. Go ahead. The other movie that had a character with an eye patch that didn't make sense was Sky Captain and World of Tomorrow because they have Angelina Jolie and that was gonna take it.
Yeah, they have her in that eye patch and she's supposed to be like a pilot. You can't be a pilot with one eye. You can adjust. Death perception.
Can't you? No. What about Deathstroke though? Master Assassin.
Oh, but he does have not necessarily Maricou Ru, but he does have the super super soldier serum. Yeah. Yeah. I'll give you that.
I've argued myself out of it. Yeah. It's like does Nick Fury fly? No, and I mean, it's fun.
It was like, which side do you look out of what star bird do you? Yeah. Do you have anything else to bring up before we get? Oh, well, I'll do other things.
Oh, yes. Oh, my God, I'm gonna crush your bones at dust. Fuck your bruising. Um, have you seen it?
Yeah. How many times? Only ones. You poor fool.
I've watched it five times and watched the Nerdist News breakdown. I'm sorry, I just, I just want, I just want Black Panther. I want an unrecord that there may be a new lady in my life, which I'll talk about on damn, but that it moved more to the Avengers trailer than the thought of me betting this girl. Wow.
That's right. This girl has to live up to Avengers Infinity War. Oh, wow. Sweet, the trailer.
Why don't you just put it on repeat and you know, put it next to the bed? Because then I'm fucking to the phrase, get this man and she, okay, yeah, I can do that. Just saying. If I could time it that I'm grabbing a condom when Black Panther says get this man and feel, I would have to fuck her brains out and then shoot myself in the skull to go out on top, which is something I would never wish on her.
And eventually I may have to have her listen to this just so I can go. That's what I think. And pray to God, this never happens to us. Well, there's an easy way to make sure it doesn't.
Don't play the trail in the background. I'll put on the condom first. No, because that doesn't work is like, I'm not putting on the condom. It's like, get this man a shield.
It's like, that's perfectly, that should be perfectly timed. And then I went just sold her to the gun. You can harden up to cut diamonds. It would be like a diamond cutting a diamond.
It would be fucking awesome. It would be like finding the diamonds in Congo. Back to Congo. I don't know why.
Or go to talk about Congo for the next month or away. Apparently so. So you've seen it. What do you think?
What? I'm going to get my money, but I'm still just really looking for it. It's like Panther movie. OK, which is in February.
Yeah. And then we have Avengers 4 in May. Yeah. And then follow it, not in continuity.
No, no, no, no Marvel movie. We do get Deadpool 2 in June. Yeah. Which by the way, I do love that on IMDb.
It's still called Untitled Deadpool sequel, which I'm kind of hoping they're doing on purpose. I'm kind of hoping they're just going to leave it like that. Yeah. Just have to be untitled Deadpool.
Yeah, like because that would be very difficult. But like I said, you do see when Thanos punches out Iron Man. You see Iron Man holding a broken arm, whether it's his or not? You don't know.
Actually, I'd re-watch it. Like you don't know who's arm's holding. So, you see War Machine in Wakanda with the Secret Avengers. What's he doing there?
I mean, that he's part of the main Avengers. OK, can you let me push you something? You're doing very badly interrupted me today. So I was hanging out with a friend yesterday and I was saying something about the Avengers.
And he pops out with a good jazz sire man. Gets punched out by Thanos. And I'm like, did you notice the t-shirt I'm wearing today? And it was that little one I have that has that, oh, that has that Thanos silhouette and says Thanos is coming on it.
Also, let's get back to the point. The fact that when he, it appears to be when he punches out Iron Man, he has at least two infinity gems. He has space and he has power. Now that implies what?
Well, that he took space from the collector, I think. New that he attacked. I know they're so hard to actually contract him. Yes.
I agree with that. Especially because we haven't seen the Soul Gem yet, which I assume we'll see him. What? Pay a 30, but he doesn't have anything to use the Soul Gem.
He has power, which means he has already taken Zandar, the one from Guardians of the Galaxy. And space, which is the Tensoract, which you do see in the trailer of Loki holding up to somebody. And theory is that he's giving up the Thanos, so to speak. Give up is Jim Pussy.
Can you not say it like that? I'll just think of the scene in Crimson Peak where you get to see his plate. Oh, he is. He is.
Jim, but, given it up. Jim, but, given it up. That's hard to say. I like it.
