By tracking expenses, individuals can become aware of the gap between their income and expenses and make intentional choices about their spending.   Schwartzman emphasizes the value of investing money wisely and distinguishing between high impact and low impact spending.  The purpose of life, according to Schwartzman, is to achieve the maximum amount of personal capability and offer it to the world.
