it's a live drive. I'm not going to say yet. We're in a Porsche McCarn 4S. I was on the configurator a year ago, speaking this car for me.
$168,000. It's not a stitch up, it's not mine. I'm buying it. You bought it.
I'm buying it. So, because if you stitch me up again. No, not a stitch down at the end, like I've got fucking money coming out. I'm like, a holl.
No, so we already had to move the... we didn't do the reveal in the start because one it's battery. Yeah, we'll let you hear the sound. And two were to move the car because hell lives in a busy neighborhood.
So we're driving a McCarn 4S. Now I bought the Tesla three years ago to see what's like living with electric in order to get the new McCarn. I've owned two McCarns in the past. I love the cars and I thought if they're going electric, then I'm going to get used to it before I buy this thing.
And I've only driven it for a couple of hours. I've only got it for one night. And when I first got in it, I had the same look as you how? Like, what the fuck is this?
The truck of ball is me. Fuck it. The truck of ball, like they have. It's a great looking car.
They've gone electric. They've dropped like, why, why go? Okay, go electric. I'm an electric advocate.
Don't get me wrong. It's pain. It's like, it's a great looking car. The Porsche has taken but an option to another level now.
Oh, this is not what I haven't even got to the interior yet. So when I walked up to it, great looking car. And when I saw it was a 4S, I got even more excited. So the way that McCarn is is just McCarn, McCarn 4, McCarn 4S and McCarn Turbo.
None of them have got a turbo or the 4s is like all-wheel drive. You know, this is going to end up like the C63. You're saying I'm going to buy one second-hand for like... You're not buying shit.
This, the McCarn will end up like the C63 with an engine back in it. Oh yeah, no. A real engine. Yeah.
A real munch of four-cylinder hybrid shit, the way I come back to the C63 and then my car will get an engine back. Because this is Porsche's biggest seller. They've went all-in on the first-hand side. Oh, they fucking didn't.
There's no fucking buttons in the center console. They went all-in like, we're gonna go all-in electric and the box that hasn't come out yet. Like, like, there was a massive pot over here. So it's like, it's a beautiful looking car.
It's in that dark green, like a, it's almost like, really carbon black, the beam out that dark blue. It's, it's, it's, it's, it's, FEMA's version of the green, a dark, like dark black British racing green, if I could describe it like that. The interior, it's, man, the dash is gone like, no, it's K-A-N, Junior. No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
The dash is rooted. This is boring. I speak mine with the extra screen. I'm gonna put photos up on my insta.
Like, the interior's got a massive hole in it where it used to have the whole thing. Yeah. I thought that was just like a black piece, no. No, no, no, no, it's like, like, piece.
Like, the armor kind of the buttons and then it went haptic towards the end. It's all haptic. Yeah, but this haptic like a little switch key and the rest is gone. Because there's no muffler button, there's no off-road button, there's no nothing but, you could have, Porsche could have still had that Porsche console.
Oh, no. Right? It's part of the Porsche D and A now that console. Yeah, but they've got to live it.
They've just got the air components down low, like what they used to be. Nothing else, because there is nothing else. There's no key box. The key, it's like a little toggle.
There's no options. There's a little toggle up next to the dash. And it's just got to peeling up. You don't even know what it's in.
But I got in and I sat with the steering wheel and you put your two hands on the steering wheel and it's like, oh, wait, I'll change it. Oh, it's up here behind the steering wheel. That's nothing. But it gave me the keys and guys enjoy, I was in the dungeon level five and I couldn't ring it.
I didn't have to start. I was sitting there for five minutes trying to figure out where the keys are and I found it. But you'll find out in a minute, if you drive this angry, it doesn't drive like an electric car. It's not that heavy feeling.
It turns. It moves. The problem is, there's no gears. There's no sound.
It's missing. Like the car handles. Porsche done a mad job in making this car turn. It's the second time I drive it, I started to enjoy it.
But $168,000 worth of joy? No, no, wait, no. I'll tell you something that you're doing straight away. Right indicator is wipers.
Left indicator is zero. Just put the button on what you're doing. The Mercedes has the washers on the way. Oh, yeah.
It's nitpicking. The thing I do like about it's got the switch for the drive mode. It's not that bad. That's pretty cool.
The dash is so not Porsche. It's got, you think you're in a Merc. It's got the two dials. It is almost like a new C-Class dash.
But the dash is not even, you haven't got your... This is boring. There's no engagement with the car. You might as well just go by trying to assist you.
That's what even the LED look, this goes trips look. It is a boring dash. Can you change this around? Yeah, you can.
So what you do is you hit that button and then it's like the C-Class you scroll with this. Oh, you can scroll with that. Oh, that's the button. So it's like a C-Class Mercedes type dash and the maps in the middle and you're changing the different modes.
I'm so glad what the five series eight. The other thing I noticed when you're driving by yourself, the seat belt, I find that a lot of the Vima does it too. There's so much plastic on the V-pillar that the seat belt metal bit bangs when you're driving by yourself. So I've had to put the seat belt on the chair.
It's the pillest doors. The design's amazing. Like I said earlier, I like the look up to it. It looks like a K-N.
It's grown. It's like the size of it like a gen one K-N. And the rehatches, if you look at the review, it's got that envelope, a little box, like it's sloped down. It's a bit more sportier at the back.
Unfortunately, the lights got a bit of that Havill Chinese. Everyone's going with that LED. Everyone's copying the car. Well, she got there first with the car.
They've all copied the eye of the car. I don't want to first, I bought the series two McCartney. I was freaking out with the LED strip. But he got it.
It goes. But like I said, it's got every other electric car. There's nothing special. It's got the sound generator for a bit of noise.
You can hear it when you can sport. It's in sport now. But the thing with the electric cars is there's no, with a combustion engine, regardless of what speed you're doing with the accelerator, no matter what you do, there is feedback from the throttle. And the gearbox talks to the engine.
I'm going to drop a couple of gears. I'm in sport, man. I'm going to hold it in a third. And the sound, if you're a driver especially, you can always not look at the engine.
You can feel where you're at with it. You know what you want. But with this? This is just a community car.
Yeah. Why would you pay 168,000 dollars to get to my business? That's fine. That's just as quick.
Just as quick. That's it. But they got to sell a candle before. No.
But I think I'm obviously looking two on the road. They've been out for nearly a year. I think they'll sell them. But then it'll hit a brick wall.
They've done the design a beautiful car and they've left out the sole of the heart of it. And I'm in an EV comfort. Don't you reckon that would have learned from the take-hand? But the time can be when we first drove the tire.
We're impressed with it. But we were. But look at the sales. And look at the resales.
You go buy. You go and try and buy a really good used, even four-cylinder mechanic with the right options. And you're still paying top-level. Yeah, they're still like 90 grand.
You can get a pie cart for nearly that money if you look hard enough. If you look hard enough, they're early hundreds. Yeah. Right.
And it's got like 5,000, 10,000 pounds. And if you walk in and say, I'll give you 90, then they'll probably say, okay, okay, okay. I'm disappointed. This is too scared to give the thumbs down.
This is, uh, makes the foot the right car. Didn't I? It makes the foot the right car. It makes the foot the- the influx of, uh, Chinese EVs.
It's killing it. It's killing it because now anyone can get an EV. And if you- and it was EVs were, yes, they were also getting a good one. But now the thing is, everyone's saying through that now, everyone's saying through it one.
And two, you can just go get a really well built. Like people say either, try to get junk. Okay. Well, if you want an EV, you go buy $60, $80,000.
Yep. Right? Buy a $170 on a Macar that I look at it and it's like, what am I actually paying for here now? It's like a pub-o-pack.
I don't know if any. It's beer. The seats are comfortable. The sunroof, it's got the roof.
It's got the buttons. The dash is boring. The dash is boring. The drive is boring.
Right? Yes. Beautiful car. Got the Porsche car.

The handles. Okay. There's nothing wrong with that. But here's the problem.
I think it's got no salt. There's nothing. There's nothing. And that's not Porsche.
If you- if you closed your eyes, if you put someone in this car and blindfolded, am I took them for a drive? I wouldn't say Porsche. They're gonna think it's a- I don't know. A hybrid wrap.
That's what you're right. Let's pull over somebody just drag them in the car and blindfold them. What car are you in? Porsche would not be the- 20.

They were hated. And the self-driving- like they- Yeah. And the thing I loved about it was it was the last of a generation where yes, it had some- it had techno. It had all the lane changer, blind spot and radar.
It had all that. But it had the analog gauges. And you know what that was? That's engagement.

You could- the way you've said it now, it says map not available in the middle of a soundtrack is it had the map mode. It doesn't even have a head-up system. I think that's an option on this. You haven't even got any dolls.

It's- yeah. I, um- I can't find 168,000 dollars worth of value in this car. It doesn't do any- the hand- okay, it looks amazing. Interior are pretty bland but well built.
The performance- there's nothing special about it. It's just like any other, um, EV. The handling's up there, Porsche. They're in and out for the handling.
But I just want to try it one more time. But Reese, there's no re-selling this. Look, this- this- That's- that's- yeah. For even a hundred- Would you all want to pay 120 for this?
There is no- apart from the badge. But you diminish the badge by getting rid of one- the engine. Yeah. And two, the inside is just- Povot.
Because when- when I saw it, I thought, I did not make it a mistake. I should have waited. And I'm so glad I'm connected and play one of these. Oh, it's- it's so- it's hard.
